Cockpit Adjustable Boost

Well sir,........you'll not like to hear this, but IMHO, cockpit adjustable boost is a sure-fire recipe for buying a new engine.
Unless you can also adjust the A/F ratio as you increase boost pressure, one will usually buy a set of new pistons & cylinders, at the very least.

That won't do it for you. Doesn't have enough of an impact at the high end where the added boost is going to cause problems.
I also think Steve's point is that as you adjust the boost up... your AFR is goign to remain at relatively the same level as it was previously set at.

Greddy Profec-b and you can add a wireless button to your steering wheel to go from low boost to high boost or just press the button on the unit which I have mounted where my ash tray was located. I am running a Tec3-r management system and have the a/f set in the charts for high boost so it is not a problem.

I would think you could put in a softer spring and buy some off the shelf manual boost controller that makes the wastegate think it's seeing a different atmospheric pressure.
EDIT: it appears the boost controller goes on the pressure line, not the atmospheric line.

I put in a two position switch and a TURBOX controller. It is set up for ,8 and .95 but can be made to span any two values. With this set up you don't have to change springs. I use a red covered switch so I don't accidentally have it set to the highest value.

You can then fit a valve which then allows you to increase boost pressure.
Basically you cut a Tee into the small tube going to your wastegate. From this Tee the new branch is connected to the adjuster and then from the adjuster you connect onto the vent of the wastgate. The air going back to the vent on the waste gate keeps the wastegate from opening.
Not sure if the adjuster can be a bleed type valve or a regulating valve. I personally have bought a Electronic Boost Controller and will use it with a Tial wastegate with a 0.5bar spring.
This thread will be of interest.

It seems the budget ricers like the ball and spring device.
