andial fuel inrichment installation

I was expecting something a little more in depth but thanks!!!
Any thoughts on my idea of running the Andial at a higher boost threshhold with the Leask WUR with and without the fuel head mod. I probably should search on the fuel head but at what point does it become a limiting factor.
Thanks.

Each car is different. You can try that route and see if the AFRs are ok. They may be fine. What I have always found is the Andial unit did not help up top, which was why we developed the head modification.

I know you probably don't want to hear this but honestly you should just try and return or resell the Andial system. Especially if you are about to embark on 6 hours of install work. In my experience the alternatives are much more effective and the installs are very straight forward.

Hey PorscheDoc,
I was looking through the 964t manual and (sorry I am butting in on the 930 forum and these numbers may not apply)...
The warm control pressure is listed as 4.5 +/- 0.20
The pressure drop during boost enrichment is 1.3 +/- .20
The injector minimum opening pressure is 2.7 to 3.8 (which seems like a pretty wide range)
Now if you take extremes...4.3 - 1.5 = 2.8
and the opening pressure of the injector is 3.8, don't we have a bit of an issue that the pressure is too low to open the injector...unless I am completely missing something like the pressure between the fuel head and the injector is different than the control pressure. I know there is a fuel pressure regulator in the fuel head. If the pressure post pressure regulator is different than control pressure, is there a calculation for it?
To further my quandry, the point of the Andial device is to lower the control pressure to deliver more fuel. If the above was somehow true, things would be getting worse instead of better fuel wise.
Hope my post isn't way off...just trying to learn.

I new I should've explained...
The control pressure somehow makes the flap more difficult to move so more air needs to pass through the flap for the same amount of flap movement. This is how it affects the mixture during cruise, WOT & under boost.
I hope someone can explain exactly what happens though...

Rudy, nobody ever listens to me until after they realise I am right. Of course I am not always right but maybe a good 80% of the time. I was late getting away from work by 45mins because my supervisor didn't listen to me & he still didn't complete the job he started. Also it was working fine before he started & when we went home it wasn't... And yes, I completed my task in time for us to go home. At least he didn't expect me to do the job he tried to do in an unrealistic time
