" May want to check out 911turbo.com someone posted a thread about a new company making IC for porsche."

The interesting thing about that thread is that no one has mentioned that you will lose your rear A/C condensor on the decklid with that IC.. With the 965 the condensor was moved to the left fender.

I didn't think you would since it looks shorter than the C2?

You can move it over, the condensor. You will losse the rear wiper though.

Sounds like the poster is even trying to make a buck on them.
No, he won't make any "bucks", but he might be trying to make a few "quid" as he is a brit

Geez, who needs AC? It's not very good in the first place and weighs about 100 lbs. I remember deciding not to get rid of the rear wiper for one reason or another.

There are some full bay IC's out there and some people have done their own. Bigger is usually better but with CIS that may not be the case, even though it would provide more thermal mass in preventing heat soak.

Right now I think Stephens would be the way to go for a CIS motor. I really like the design, even better than the Kokeln.

hi Brent930, so basically the Andial is out dated technology and an inferior product to Stephens?

Out dated, Yes. Inferior is a little too harsh but Stephens will be better no question. This thread is about best IC for the money so it depends how much money you can get this Andial vs. Stephens. If you can't get a bargain (like on Ebay) then you should get Stephens.

actually the reason I was inquering is that my car already had it installed. So I am thinking now of selling it and making the swap for Stephens IC.
how much could I get for an Andial IC? I've tried pricing a used unit but come up empty handed.

Is it a short or a long neck (does it have the big cast iron recirculation valve assy under the IC or does the IC connect directly to the throttle body) ?

If it is long neck then maybe it wouldn't be money well spent.

The valve is aluminium...
Don't know why people like to call it cast iron, it's not that bad!
