Lets just say that I am testing and retesting product to make sure nothing ever changes. I am not going to say anything negative about anyone. Most of you know that. I will say however that Dwayne no longer owns the company and the new owner doesn't have the passion for Porsches in general like Dwayne did. It is a shame how things change. I remember when we tried one of the first three built. Man, seems like ages ago. Dwayne no longer owns Kokeln. He still owns Vision but has let the product side go to another outside owner.

As far as the intercooler…Here is a picture of the kit we put together. The kit includes the factory elbow, C2T down pipe, bracket, BOV, stud, sleeve, and through pipe. Oh and a C2T style intercooler. The CI of the intercooler is about 540CI and has all the fittings and attachments that the factory cooler does. The only thing that doesn’t come with the intercooler is the airfilter system which replaces the factory airbox. The factory box needs to be modified if you want to use it which we can do or use the small open filter that fits only around the fuel plate.

I'm not trying to start anything negative here and the IC Stephen has shown is very nice looking. But, is there something in particular other than the guy who is selling them, that has changed about the Kokeln IC? material, welds, core etc..? I don't care one way or another and I am not asking for any bashing here, just want to know if there is a factual reason not to purchase a Kokeln the next time I am in need of an IC. Stephen, could you let me know what modification to the airbox is needed to make your IC fit?

Please contact me via phone or off line. I had used Kokeln since the day it was made and sold more product than any other reseller. My reasons are not one of personalities.

I am not going to post anything negative. I think people know that I have a level that I maintain both in integrity and product and I will not compromise either for a brand, product or individual.

What a shame. But things do change over time. Heck... even Porsche built an SUV.

I appreciate you not bashing. Great looking IC btw.

Stephen, how about a picture in a car?

I can see where your IC might be better than the Koklen where the air flow is more even through out the core.

Goodjob

Yes, the days of Rob and Dwayne are long gone. It should have been a heads up when Rob left.

I just received a polished B&B from Stephen on his recommendation and the quality is fantastic. Very nice unit. If it passes his test, it surely passes mine. Unfortunately at the moment its still sitting in the box (thats changing soon).

I've been following that thread. Not to sure about it...

Sounds like the poster is even trying to make a buck on them.
