Default Single or dual tip mufflers?

What are the benefits of the dual tip mufflers, apart from looking cool?

Do they really offer any real benefit in terms of HP and exhaust flow?

Are they much louder?

but I thought I read somewhere that the dual is really not a true dual because something is in the way of the other tip, I think the thread was started by Sameer and someone mentioned it was the WG that was in the way.

Only on the Fabspeed. Which is ok because it sounds and performs the best. Not to mention the dual tips do look cool.

I'd like to hear how loud this single really is. I downloaded the mpg from their site but you can't get the realdeal from it. Anyone out there have on installed, if you wouldn't mind recording your car while driving, I'll make sure I stay behind thisl if you do a WOT pass

Some have said it's not too bad, others have said it's obnoxiously loud! I don't care! This baby is going on mine!

i have one on my N\A 911 and it is seriously ear peircingly loud at WOT but i like it and most others do too. and chicks seem to like it alot.

im not a fan of the style on the turbo though how it comes out the center, id personally get a pipe fabbed up to come out the right side to clean it up a bit but thats just me.

FWIW the turbo itself does help muffle a tad bit! I know it's personal preference, but I like the center exit. Very 934 like. I'm also dumping the rear lower valance. So all the world can see my stanky ****!

The turbo is a "rotary muffler".

Diabolos, if you want to experience the noise of the zork tube then remove your muffler from the turbo housing. It is very loud. I wouldn't recommend driving the car just in case you get flames

I did this when I took my car apart.
