Default '91 cylinders on 930 (only o-ring base gasket right?)

Please confirm that when using '91 cylinders on a 930 the only cylinder base gasket that's required is O-ring. By "only" I mean I did not need to use standard copper base gasket and the O-ring.

Thanks!

Make sure they line up correctly, yes. That is all you will need. Watch your deck height as the C2T used a .5mm spacer in between the head and cylinder.

Oh thank God!! Read in another post someone mentioned cyl base gasket and o-ring. I about died!! Had pet checked on 91 and it only had o-ring, but thought something might be amiss if used on pre'89 car.

btw -- you already saved me on the cyl head gasket about a month ago with what I was missing and with part #. I was low on deck height and found out that cyl did not penetrate into head enought to seal. I didn't have head gasket!

I have seen people run both and have even had the people that we buy the Mahles from suggest it. It has not been an issue either way.
