PorscheDoc is my right hand, Karl. Not sure who PorscheMD, we welcome him to Rennlist though. He seems to have the correct spirit of the list in mind.

I was afraid that might come up. My name is Mike Dumont and have worked on Porsches basically all my life. My father started an independant Porsche repair shop almost forty years ago working on Porsches only which I now own. So the PorscheMD simply stands for my initials and my love for the cars I have grown up around for the last 36 years. I'm not trying to imply anything or step on toes. I find this forum useful and helpful and simply want to particpate in the community.

We have some medical/surgical doctors lurking around as well. I sure could have used some nursing help like that today in the operating room (aortic aneurysm repair, 4.5 hours, 3000 cc blood loss, patient awake and OK now). It was as bad as some of the pistons that PorschePhD posts with detonation or ring blowouts.

I have to imagine the nurse picture because the Federal Government internet filter on this lovely hospital computer won't let me see this picture. 3 years of college, 4 years of medical school, 5 years of general surgery residency, 3 years of Ph.D., 1 year of vascular surgery fellowship, 6 years in grueling vascular surgery practice, but the Feds say I can't see a partially unclothed woman...

(here's what I see when I click on it...)

Access to the URL: http://www.threewisheslingerie.com/i...iefnurse-c.jpg has been denied.

Do you think I should state a "business justification" and demand access to the PorscheRN picture? I may end up rendered (renditioned?) to Guantanamo and I don't look good in orange, and I hate force feeding.

But seriously, I respect and love the comments from the Porsche doctors on this board. Stephen has provided invaluable advice regarding my new car, which I will get back next week after an intercooler and some basic maintainance. It is the "Big Bad" 1978 930 built by Michael Benet and Stephen and visible on the IA website under "our cars". I will post pics as soon as I can.

My handle here "SEW QUIK" is also my license plate. Means something else to a vascular surgeon...
