Default Injector Blocks

Just about everyone of my stock fuel injector manifold blocks is cracked. Does anyone have a source for these? I'm keeping CIS, so I don't really need the billet aluminum blocks. I'm not really interested in spending a fortune on these things, just want the OEM replacements. Any ideas? I prefer new over used since I've heard that failures (cracks) are common to this part.

If you are gonna keep CIS, I would go to the aluminum ones. Yes they do tend to crack and sooner than later. For the money, hassle and/or time to replace one....the aluminum ones are good choice. Not only that, I've seen a couple examples of burned valves from cracked injector blocks that were discovered a little too late.

I know you're right. I'm just trying to avoid sinking another few hundred bucks into it as I still have other things to purchase. Maybe I'll check with Hargett or Pat Williams. Anyone else have a source?

What's a good source for the aluminum blocks? Soon as the weather breaks I'll be reworking my engine (again, twin plug heads this time round).

Aluminum is okay (in fact I use them) but the reason the factory used phenolic in the first place, instead of maybe extending the manifold or some other solution, is that they do a great job of NOT transferring heat to the injectors. Our injectors are somewhat sensitive to heat.

Aluminum is great if you have ported the heads or manifold. You don't really want to port the phenolic as it will make it thinner and weaker.
