Default 930 Rod strength

How much HP/FtLbs would a new set of 930 rods, that have been lightened, balanced, shot peened and using race ware bolts, stand?

I have reliabily pushed them to 521hp and run them for 6 years with no issues. No lightening, no balancing, not shot peening, but with ARP bolts. I think they are good for 600hp as long as the RPM range is kept below 7000rpm. It will be the rpm that kills the rods more than the additional compressive loads a turbocharger will add.

There is little doubt that you'll pull a rod apart before bending one under normal conditions. Sure we've all seen bent rods but that is usually due to something else failing.

stroke+ piston, pin and piston weight+ rpm = force on rod (which is most dependent on max piston speed)
