I just picked up one of these babies and it's a work in Progress.

I just wanted to learn a bit about them.

I'm guessing the 930 means Turbo 911?

Whats the diffrerence between the Slantnose and the regular 930's besides the obvious body style difference?

Whats the HP rating on one of these?

Also, whats the diff between a 911 Turbo and a 930 Turbo if they aren't the same car with a different name?

Are the 930's just a different body style than the 911's?

930 is the European designation for 911 Turbo (what we know in America). The numbers/name are for the same car...with the Euro version obviously not having as many emmission hang-ups as it's US counterpart.

Do you know if it's a "real" Slantnose or a conversion? Some of the Slantnose owners on here will tell you what option codes you need to look at to determine this. They'll also be able to tell you what the other differences might be other than styling.

911 Turbo = 930 (same thing)

911 turbo has a distict wider rear body than the "regular" normally aspirated 911 cars, to accomodate the wider wheels and give other car owners an inferiority complex...LOL

US Spec 911 Turbo \ 930 = 282hp
Euro Spec 911 Turbo \ 930 = 300hp

Slantnose only has the visual difference from the regular 911 Turbo \ 930
