Motor build off the scale.

Motor build off the scale.
Well, I thought I was in to detail. I am building a motor and the customer asked for me to send the case to have it polished. I agreed that it would be a ton of work, but would be fine. Some where in the middle of that they said forget it and powedercoated everything!!! So I thought I would post some pics. I do not suggest you do this for many reasons. Mostly however because you will spend 5 hours cleaning it to make sure none of the powdercoating gets where it shouldn't be. I also have concerns about the heat issue. The owner has powdercoated, polished everything from the AC bracket to the power steering pump. All the tin is Chrome. I will continue to post pictures as it goes together.
FWIW the details of this motor are stroked 3.5 Liter. Flame ring heads, opened exhaust and intake ports, flowed and polished. These heads make a V12 look small. Larger valves, EFI conversion. Exhaust flanges have been welded and milled to accept a slip fit on the custom headers which are 1 3/4. The cam is a custom grind over the EVO GT2 cam.
No low end you say. Nope, notta. BUT this will have a T78 on it and has one purpose in life. To hit the drag strip. Can you say wheelie time.
