Do you have a kit for people that already have the Carrera intake on and ready to go but have spent 14 months on the project and are just ready to be done with it?

Ken, at first this project is to be installed in house at ImagineAuto. We have spent much time debating all the different configurations, and this is the decision that we have come up with. We have stepped forward to pay monies toward transport of your vehicle.
Please email Stephen or myself and we will send you a worksheet to have you fill out. This will be returned with an estimate to complete the installation of this kit.
Again, there are two many build variations that contribute to the method of our madness. SC cams vs 964 cams, B & B or GHL headers vs stock heat exchangers. 3LDZ turbochargers vs Hyflow 2.. Twin plug vs single plug. One tuning program will not cover the gammit. Tuning the finished product is of great importance. Having the dyno's and tuning it in house cements the decision to get the project done at Stephen's shop.

Kevin/Stephen,
With the kit you'll are offering, what if I were to go with the 3.2 intake manifold with everything else being the same from your kit, how much of a difference is there in numbers? If I can get the same numbers with the stock intake than why not as I would'nt have to spend more for the 3.2 intake conversion. Also do you'll have any dyno sheets on your kit? What kind of power gains can one expect?

Sameer;
You have to compare apples to apples. You will have to increase your intake inlet ports to 41 mm to optimize the 3.2 manifold. You will then have to build a custom intercooler and or cut the 3.2 manifold to make it adapt to the intercooler. This require time, welding, machine work, porting. And if you can't do it yourself you have to pay for it..
As a Porsche owner you need to decide what you want and how much you want to spend. Installing the 3.2 manifold is a slippery slope, there are so many upgrades that need to be tackled to make it work.

Kevin,
I understand wat your saying. Thanks.
What I'm asking is if I were to retain everything as per normal but just doing the 3.2 intake conversion with the necessary work involved versus your conversion, how much of a difference would it make in power over yours? If it's a small difference in power output than off course it will be seriously worth looking into your conversion. If it makes a big difference, than the 3.2 intake would be the way to go. Put money aside. I just want to know the numbers.

Sameer, they will be the same until you reach the maximum threshold of a ported pancake manifold. If your heads are staying at 34mm then you might be at a disadvantage with a 3.2 manifold to a certain point. 500HP pancake vs 500HP 3.2 the outcome is the same. I feel that the max is going to be around 550HP, maybe 575.. I have seen some high Dynojet numbers from injected stock systems.. Take it with a grain of salt.. If you want the 650HP twin plug engine, go with the 3.2..
Again this kit is for a specific target market..

Sameer, I think Kevin is spot on. I doubt you will see any difference up until a 600hp level (6-700scfm?). These changes in airflow are not dramatic for 99% of the fast street drivers.. When you are at a racing level, or quartermile competition, then you might want to optimize everything, but then again you are not talking manifold anymore, but going the whole nine yards. The work involved to put the 3.2 on, is just not worth it IMO.

If I can post one more opinion, I don't know how much this costs but the changes that you will see on the way your car drives is night and day, performance is not measured only in the amount of additional hp you will get, and honestly I think it is the least important aspect, but rather, how will that delivery be, the efficiency of the engine will take a huge leap, think supercharger on a N/A, well this is maybe 10 times better on a CIS turbo.

Kevin, Jean,
You'll answered exactly what I wanted to know. I dont plan on going more than 580-600 bhp as there is so much the stock 930 chasis can handle. I want a driveable 550bhp and your EFI kit seems the way to go. I will get intouch with you'll( Stephen and Kevin) soon. Once again, thanks guys.

Jean,
I know exaclty what your saying. I used to drive ahighly moded WRX before and when I put in the Motec management system, did I than only realise much more about power delivery.
