I am too, of the age when these were mere fantasies on my walls (I am 35). I have now made them a reality. Just to reiterate, DP and Kremer did work together in the early years, then when they split off Kremer purchased their kits from DP, Kremer never produced their own body kit.
Oh and by the way, for those that don't really understand the history of what came first. DP Motorsport started making these slantnose conversions before the Porsche factory produced their version of the slantnose. Porsche tried following them quite quickly too, which is why the factory looks like a bolt on, unlike the smooth lines of the DP.
Not all Gemballas are of the extreme variety. I have an original Gemballa Slantnose Version III, here a some pics.
