The console still stays if you want. The only thing is you would have to make a small cover or new insert out of carbon or FRP to cover to old shifter hole. The A/C holes and controls could stay in the console. The Hargett shifter was designed to install for perfect placement without interfering with any stock components.

So you are saying that the handbrake and the auto heater console can be retained with the Hargette? They just mount on top of the new shifter? That's a real plus!
