Default Baseline Dyno... let the mods begin

OK, so I've decided to spend some slim bucks this fall on the beast. here's where it's at now, completely stock, except for a K27-7200 and a cat bypass....period. Dyno'd last week getting my CO%/ mixture set

Power- 231 RWHP at 4900 rpm
Torque- 258 at 4500 rpm

it seems a bit low (well maybe not if I adjust for ~18% loss from the flywheel HP at 275), but there has been no engine work what so ever, heads, etc.

the wrench wants to upgrade to headers and exhaust system (GHL or B&B), cams, rework the heads, 1 bar spring, and Powerflow-K&N type intake as Phase I... "let the engine breathe"

Should I expect to reach 300 RWHP and similar TQ with just these mods? Would I need a larger capacity IC, or another oil cooler/fan in the other fender?

this may be enough (for now). I need to also rework my transmission because the 3rd syncho is going. For the money spent, should I do the synchos, LSD and R&P, or gearsets in 2/3, push 3 into 4, and the LSD?

those who haven't been there need not reply... experienced comments, please.

Gino, I just dyno'd my stock car and did 283 RWHP and 330.7 Torque on a Mustang Dyno. It ran with a 1bar spring..

impressive numbers Kevin.
I'm not sure what the 1 bar spring brings, but those are much greater than what's published (Anderson's book) for 86-89 (282 FWHP, 287 TQ... minus ~15-18% or 240 RWHP, 245 TQ). perhaps you have an ROW car? those numbers were (300 FWHP, 321 TQ... or 255 RWHP, 273 TQ)
hp.

my motor has a few miles on it (105k), perhaps it's a bit tired... all the more reason for a freshening.
