I got lucky, the prior owner put the rims on 300 miles before I bought the car! Including rubber. It was 2yrs before I bought the car from him so they were showroom new basically.

When I was looking for 930s I was going to paint the Fuchs body color of whatever color car I got as a temp measure, and then save up perhaps for LMs of FM/10s or some HREs. I kind of just lucked into the position I was in because I basically got them for nothing and still have the Fuchs too.

I do love them and they have grown on me. When I first went to look at the car I was hesitant at howd they look but I usually get excellent comments. They have won me a couple car shows Im sure everything else being equal.

Im equally a fan of the FM/10s. Basically same design. The good stuff costs bucks but I do like the quality. My OZs on my Subaru were very well manufactured too. Were the LMs not period correct they would hurt me at the car shows. People dont like mismatching genres on a car. If its solely for driving pleasure I say get whatever your heart desires.

The HREs on the dudes Prussian Blue 930 are hot hot hot too. That damn prussian blue though is butter. Dog **** would look good under that car. Too bad I think he had to sell.

I love the color on your car ENGINEERMAN! And the body ain't bad either! HA! As for trading rims, I'll keep what I have...although once I have enough $$$$ in the car-mod-coffers, I do plan to seek out those Lindsey Racing rims. The SSRs that are on my car now, were literally just installed a couple of weeks before I got the car - they're brand new.

Well, to be honest sandman, the rims you have on your car look money. The BBS do not compare to what you have. The dish you have says it all.

Thanks, SoFast. Does that mean I need to take a "money shot"? They do look nice, but are maybe a little too bling bling. I'm getting used to them, though.

What offsets do you guys run with such wide wheels? Do you use the stock spacers in the rear?
