Has anyone used a Borla XR1 muffler to replace the 930 stock muffler? I understand it requires some work to fit, I'm more interested in the sound of it.
If you have used the Borla XR1 , which one was it (size)?

The car has the Euro exhaust, not cat!

I have a very old Borla XR-1 that I put on my car when it was converted to EFI in 1996. It is relatively quiet, but flows well. I don't recall the exact model, but it is 16" long by 8" diameter.

Thank you Geoffrey.. I'm upgrading my 930 to use the Motronic off of a 3.2L and will be upgrading the turbo to a custom Garrett with a V-band clamp which prompted the need for a new muffler.

I also have a Garrett with a V-band clamp and it works great.
