And the ID tag will also read HF1 for original Highflow and HFS for highflowS? or what? I just ordered one recently

We no longer make the HF1. Therefore all the recent turbos are listed as HFS or K27S or HF2.

I ask because my mechanic called to say the label on mine says Highflow but with no "S" on it

The "S" has a 3" inlet. That would = Hyflow "S"

The HF2 has the 3 inch inlet as well.
