As some of you know I recently unloaded a few assets and I am in the market for a "new to me" car. Does anyone know anything about this car? It looks really interesting. Thanks in advance for your valued opinions..

30,000 miles since the engine work. I'd want a leakdown to get some idea of how strong the engine still is ('cause there is a big difference between 30k worth of highway miles vs. 30k worth of full boost track miles...)

I don't understand why it doesn't say Turbo on the back and have a boost gauge in the tach. Is this a converted car? If it is there are a lot of questions to answer. The entire suspension and transmission are different on the turbo and if you just change the engine and nothing else there will be some issues. Also the brakes are different as well. Looks wild though. I'd love to wring it out.

LOL, Rudy

this is a converted 911, with stock FI. I would be very careful with this. It looks like they took a 3.2 Carrera engine, added turbo goodies and get 550hp at not quite 1 bar. It probably has stock compression on those pistons. I would not expect it to hold up well.

is it the lighting or has this car been painted from the middle of the door to the rear. Looks like they blew it in from the middle of the door back....

Possible rear end damage? The engine stickers aren't consistent either.

it is a Protomotive Conversion. Look up Prototechmotors.com or protomotive.com for info. If the guy has receipts and a PPI checks out, this car will scream. Protomotive is a true builder but the seller must have the receipts for the work before i would go any farther.
