I just thought I would share with you guys my new Recaro seats, treated them to a Gliptone clean and restore this afternoon.

They are the genuine seats from a marine blue 964RS, I am fitting them into my maratime blue 930 turbo. I have also ordered the matching blue front seat belts and perforated leather RS door panels with blue door pulls.

I am hoping it will look the nuts when finished.

Very nice seats. I have a set of yellow backed seats from a 964 cup car.

Your pics show just how narrow the SPG seats get at the waist. I'm 6'3" and 33 waist - they are a very snug fit. I can't imagine anyone larger would be able to fit.

 

Gorgeous. I was thinking of pole positions (very similar) for my 930 but ended up with SRDs as the car gets a lot of street use in the city and the SRDs were easier to live with.

 

the pole posions are wider at the base but difficult to get low enough with side mounts and runners.

 

I have a set of those as well with the 3 tone gray centers.... I bought mine from an owner of a 92 964RS as well. I LOVE them.

I got the limited edition Recaro A8 seats which I have painted the seats back in speed yellow.

 

I would love to see a picture of them Sameer
