I have those exact style rims on my ride. I am running Yokohama Advan: P315/35ZR17 on the rears, and 245/45ZR17 on the fronts. This tire combination gives amazing grip and handling characteristics. Let me know if you got the rims yet!

I had 315's on my old 930, but I had to role the fenders. I tried a few different tyre sizes in the front, and the 235's gave me the best overall handling on the track. My old car was a grey market 84. Good luck (and they were FM-10's, 11 inch rears)

No rubbing. Yes the fender rim had to be rolled which is very easy. As for th fronts, the 245 work very well and I do not have anything to say but positive. It drives great, especially on the track. But, it all depends on the suspension as well. It is amazing you can fit all that rubber under there.

295s should be no problem. I run them and have a bunch of room to spare, it really gives the car a much better look, especially from behind when you see all that rubber under there.

I would say you could possibly go more...... All you need to do is a few measurements to be positive. Find out what the offset is for your rims, and get out that tape measure and have at it. You will know within a few minutes. Then give a tire guy a call and you are done. Good luck!

SoFast. Having never done this, here is my guess on the math: Measure the fender well depth, cut the number in half, subtract the wheel offset and multiple the difference by 2 to arrive at the total width of the tire?

Well after all the drama over Ebay the Fikses arrived last night and are exactly as advertised! I can believe the seller when he estimates 500 miles on them. All in all great deal even when you factor in the headaches considering I bought them for 50% off retail.
Thanks for all of the recommendations on sizes, from my research it looks like the yoko A032Rs are the only R-compound DOT tire that comes wide enough for my application. Anyone else running an alternative 295ish 17" R?

The width of your wheels is a major factor in the sizing. If they're 9s and 10s, my personal recommendation is a 255/40-17 and 275/40-17 combination. These tire sizes will fit those wheel sizes best speaking from personal experience. Your results may vary...
What can work and what works well are often two different things. There are a few different track tire brands out there that have two sizes (F/R) that work well together. The handling characteristics can be tuned if you have adjustable swaybars to accomodate a wide range of front to rear size bias. There are basically two limiting factors, your wheel size, and what will physically fit. As above, the wheel size (width) allows a range of sizes that will work, but there is usually a tire size that is optimal. The space in the fender is the other factor, both width and height, and that can be improved by rolling the lips, relocating or otherwise reducing the profile of hardware like oil lines in the wheel well, etc...
I personally run 17 x 10 in the front with 275/40-17 tires, and 17 x 11.5 in the rear with 315/35-17 tires. I ran Kumho V710 tires last year and loved them. There is room to change the wheel halves in the rear so the wheels are 12.5 inches wide, and fit a 335/35-17 tire. It would be tight, and require precise alignment, but they will fit.

That is what I heard, but getting a tire in that size is greatly reduce on selection. That is why I stayed at the 315 mark! Good luck and enjoy the rims. They defiantely are one of the best looking rims for this car!
