Default PPI Help in Houston?

Gang,
I'm looking at a 930 in Houston and need to get it checked out. Any good recommendations for a shop? It's being sold by "Team Autoplex." Anyone know them or have any dealings with them?

Thank you very much.

Derick,

I don't know the Team Autoplex guys, but there are several reputable shops in Houston that can perform an inspection for you. When I lived there, I used Eurocar-Werk to maintain both my 1974 911 and my 1979 930. Eric Anderson is a very knowledgeable guy and he has always had a good team of folks bending wrenches on all manner of Porsches. Eurocar-Werk is located at 5103 Gulfton in the southwest part of Houston, just south of the US59/I-610 interchange by the Galleria shopping mall. Their phone number is 713-661-6428. Ask for Eric and tell him I said "Hello!". Here is the Eurocar-Werk web site. Good luck. If you get a nice 930, you will LOVE it!

Not that this necessarily means anything, but that place has been trying to ebay that car for a loooong time.

I want to say I first saw them ebaying that car over a year ago! If not a year, it's been many, many months.

I remember it because it looks so nice on their ebay pictures! And because I've seen it so many times.

Not well (50% leakdown in #5), but the dealership was very reasonable and realistic and really easy to work with given the circumstances.

It actually worked out well for me because I'm planning to imagineauto (is that a verb?) it. No P&Cs, full EFI, big intercooler, the works.
