Well, the intake tube has oil in it so the turbo is leaking. I called up Stephen to order a new K27. Looks like it tool time.

eddie;

Can you post a picture of the oil in your inlet tube... So that people can see what is happening.. The oil puddling gets ingested.. You will also have a wet turbine wheel..

My 930 used to smoke for about a minute on cold startup after it had just been rebuilt and I had a brand new ceramic bb turbo on it with 1 piece seals. I swore the seals were shot b/c I found oil in compressor housing when I took all the plumming off. Well we took my turbo off and the seals were perfect but we couldn't figure out why it was still leaking. then we thought that I just over filled it...nope oil level in the tank at operating temp was right on the money. Turned out that the oil sump tank that GHL sent with my headers was too small and when the car shut off, the oil drained down into it and backed up in the oil line that fed the turbo...since the one piece seals leave a little clearence when cold the oil leaked through. I had a custom oil sump tank built thats about double capacity of the ghl unit and I have only a little puff of smoke on cold start up now. Just like a 911 should.
