I can't say it's economical or even practical, but I love overkill, and that's AWESOME!

Excellent work! Are you in the business, or is it a hobby?

Any website we could see your other creations?
Very nice.

In addition to having his own shop in New Jersey, Christian is on the PCA Tech. commitee. His specialty is the Porsche 930.

Completely foolish. Why do you waste so much time and effort on a battery box? Besides you snug fit your battery, next time you change you might have to make a new one, since batteries aren't always the same size. And a sheet metal or plastic box would weigh less than this piece of ****.

But, your skills with the CNC router are at least doubtless. I honour you for that.

Christian,

I will take one. Just consider where Irover lives and put his comment in the trash.

I live in Saudi Arabia, does this make me a camel?

You just took irover's ridiculous comment and made it worse. Too bad, your Porsche contributions have been interesting on this and other boards.

And I live in NH - so what difference where one resides have to do with *anything*? You want to take it up in private with me personally - that's fine. However - be forewarned - I have little patience for bigotry and/or racism based on where a person lives, their ethnic background or nationality.

Want to try me?

Wow, bigotry and/or racism. Strong words but I didnt start the smart comment and call this fine piece of work a piece of ****. Im sorry that I made the comment without thinking and should have kept political views off this board.

Bigotry & Racist? But wait, it was a freaking RUDE post. And everyone knows the French are rude.

That is the coolest battery box I've ever seen! I'd be happy if I could think of something that nice - let alone build it!

btw, I'm French, so call me all the names you like.
