Death Wish
Today, my father and I were talking about how the Powerball was up to $200+ million. And he asked me, what two cars would you buy? I responded a GT3 and a 930. He responded... a 930? Then I explained... (BTW I know this car would never be able to drive on the road, but what a beast to have. I figured that at $300,000, there is no better car.)
1. Take a pre-73 body, and rip every panel off. Replace everything with fiberglass RSR parts. Gut the interior. Get weight down around 2250 lbs.
2. Buy a 930 engine and G50/50 tranny and drop them both off at Protomotive. Get Proto to get both built to around 700-750 RWHP. Try to get the intercoolers in the fenders to save the RSR look.
3. Install bigger brakes/ suspension/ Roll Cage...etc.
4. Paint it in an early color (Preferablt Signal Orange.)
Anyone here ever get this bored? I love building cars on paper, and this car would be a rollercoaster. Anyone want to share their dream projects?
