Unhappy Car just died

I have a 1984 930, the car has 95,000 on the clicker. I was out driving it today, and got just around the block, and it died. Its got fuel, and turns over fine. The battery was a little low, due to sitting up for the winter, and I ran it down trying to get it started. I haven't checked the ignition yet, but any ideas to what the culpret is would be great, thanks. Matt

Are you sure you have fuel. The little yellow relay in the rear is known for doing this. That is your over boost control and will kill the fuel pumps. Also if you have anything other than a Bosch CDI unit and you are missing ignition you will know that is the problem.

Mine did the same thing last fall, it turned out to be a bad fuseholder for the fuel pump circuit. It all looked ok, but apparently alot of current passes through that fuseholder and causes it to heat up and cool down , leading to corrosion and weak connections. Take a look on the fusebox cover or your manual to locate the correct fuse for the pumps and give it a good lookover.
