Arrow splitting block halves

Hi. I bought a 930 1978 with the motor all in pieces. Now trying to open the block halves to inspect/change the bearings. Is there anything behind the flywheel that holds them togeather? I would like to leave the wheel on for now, but it seem to stick in that end, and maybe i have to take the wheel off to separate the block?

Any ideas,
Thanks

Peter

Yes, there are two studs on either side of the journal. You need to pull the flywheel to get to them.

Make sure that you get the nut from one of the main through bolts inside of the front chain housing area (drivers side)

Yep. found that one. Do you also know what size the XZN screws are at the flywheel?
