Default Change to a Euro Turbo Muffler

Hi All,
Hope you are all well.
I have an '89 cab and I would like to change from the cat/muffler combination to a Euro muffler. Can anyone tell me what years will fit my '89? I have been thinking about aftermarket but wanted to consider my options for a used Euro muffler also. Thanks for any help you can provide.

It should fit, but you can get a new aftermarket like a GHL and have an even better muffler. Going with a full GHL system will save you 50-60 lbs and make your car scoot even better.

Look for used one as well. There always seems to be some for sale.

Thanks Gents.
I understand that they will fit but what years? Will all from any 3.3 fit my '89 or just specific years?
Thanks

78-89 should all be the same.

I have a extra euro single pipe and dual pipe muffler. The earlier one through 1981 are different. On those the wastegate outlet is piped into the muffler as well. The 1982 and up euro 930's have a seperate short little muffler for the wastegate.

What do you want for the early one? What type of shape is it in?

It came off my 1979 euro 930(it is the single pipe muffler). The car had 35k miles. It is in good shape. I will take some pictures for you if you would like. Send me a pm with your email.

Just another thought. On my 89, I dropped the cat and substituted a bypass pipe, using the stock muffler. I also have GHL headers. This set up gives better flow, sounds a bit throatier, but leaves the stock muffler. I may go to a dual outlet eventually, but for now no need to rework the rear valence.

If you go to a dual muffler consider the Fabspeed one, it's very nice with max performance.
