Has anyone updated their mirrors from the square stock mirrors to aero mirrors?

I bought my friend the aero mirror package for his '79 930 but I bought the non-electric package assuming that the current electric windows setup will fit the new design. Is this correct or do I actually have to purchase the 'electric' aero mirror package even though the car already has electric mirrors?

I thought it was a direct swap. If you want power mirrors, an wiring adapter is needed between the mirror and the old harness.
