Hi Mark,
Welcome to the forum. Only advice I can give is to be aware that the US specs and the Euro specs are different and you should check with your mechanic before doing any modifications to the engine. Enjoy your car - I have had my '88 3.2 Carrera for about 8 years, drive it daily (almost) and still loving it.

I still haven't taken any photos yet. But thanks for the warm welcome guys.
After getting the wheels off, I finally discovered that my car has 6" and 8" Fuch's. I hear talk of 6+7's, 7+8's etc, but haven't heard of the 6+8 combination before.
I have discovered that my throttle wasn't getting the full travel. I had about 7mm gap to the stop. Adjusted that which was a fine balance in getting full throttle and properly closed. The car came alive! Which is nice. (Will my rear tyres l;ast long I wonder?)

Mark,
Welcome to the wonderful world of 911's my friend. They are a truly wonderful product and you will never want to drive your Audi again (and Audi's are wonderful cars as well)! This site is a great resource so use it as much as possible for help and support! Best wishes. - Jay Gratton
