Default Click it Tap Noise on deceleration

I have an 88 3.2 and the car just developed a distinct click or tap sound when I let off the gas, and less often, but sometimes when cruising at constant speed. The sound seems to be coming from the passenger side of the car, perhaps even the door? Hard to tell. Best I can describe, It sounds like someone is holding a quarter between their fingers and tapping the side or rear window with the edge of the quarter. Thanks for any thoughts, or if this sounds familiar, pun intended. Cheers

Make sure your rear swaybar mount is intact.

I've got a similar sound in my rag top when the driver's window is all the way up. Makes me insaner.

Sometimes the window pivots will wear out and start clanging around. If they are, then you'll hear them rattle most when the window is partially open. You can try to wind a small amount of dental floss around the pivots to quiet them down. The fix is a new window regulator, but who wants to do that? Not me.
