Guys this came with the car i just bought, it wasn't mounted on, seller gave to me, its the full decklid- i'm not even sure if is for a 964 because the car has the 964 kit on it or if its for the original chassis of the car a G body 1977..i can't see a part number on it, i think its been painted over..it is not a flimsy fiber glass part it appears to be original
i'm not a fan of whale tails so would be looking to sell it

Not much.
From what I see it appears to be a factory 930 rubber lip and an aftermarket 930 base. The lid I can't tell from the pictures. Assuming the rubber is in good shape a new one can be had for around $750 or so, possibly $350-500 used. The base isn't worth much being aftermarket and the lid if factory 930 could be worth $300 or so.

Give us a picture of the underside of the lid. It looks like a lid from a non-turbo car that has been drilled out. Real Turbo lids have a larger opening for the intercooler.

I still would have thought it was worth decent money though . I personally cant tell if its aftermarket base. Would be nice to see if there is a Porsche script in the base.
Also Tarek be careful , you have to be a paying member to sell here. You could get the thread deleted if you even hint at you want to sell .

Doug if oyou look carefuly you can see where the original grill fastened on to the original lid through the slits in the pic.

There is also no grill. I agree with AG on closer inspection it appears to have been added to a 3.2 carrera lid. That means they had to drill it to make it work and aren't worth that much in this condition.

Not factory at all . Factory ones have Porsche script on the base below where the porsch crest is on the rubber.
Also the lid is a Carrera lid , that tab with the hole is where the original grill screwed on , that's what I could see through the slits, that's how I new it was a modified lid.
holes in the deck lid can be filled with metal , but agreed, may be just good as wall art in this condition. Hopefully it is not a tell tale sign of other things on the car.

yeah I agree, I personally don't like the 964 at all , its just not to my tastes, But im sure people will also ask one day why some of ours are converted into long hoods too, and why would anyone put an LS-1 into a Calssic 911, but that's for another day ...
