Default Maxlite wheels for 911 SC

Hey all,

I am new to Rennlist and am a new owner of an 82 SC, it has Porsche twist wheels on it for which I'm not a big fan. Was wondering if anyone has thoughts on the MaxLites? I have considered used Fuchs, but saw these and was wondering how much of a drop off for my weekend driver. Thanks!

I keep finding other things to work on, but mounting tires on my 16J9 Maxilite is going to happen soon.

Thanks so much! I'm following along on the forum you recommended. What are your thoughts on the Maxlites vs the euromeisters.....I heard the Malites may be better as they are TUV approved and /or more durable.....

I have a set of 6x15 Maxlites for my rain tires on my racecar. Cheap. Work fine. No problems.

Euromeister only have name recognition. . . They have been around a while.

Maxilites reproduce a much broader range of classic wheel than just the Fuchs. I saw a pallet of them at a local shop and had to have them.

You can always have your 16's cut down and mated to 17" BBS halves for about $200/wheel.

what tires do you run with your 16s that you like? I'm looking for Summer extreme tire recommendations that would be comparible to Michelin pilot super sports which are only available in 17s unfortunately

I have a brand new set of 15x11 and 15x9 with tires that I am going to be selling since I have a set of 17s I will be using instead. PM me if interested.
