Default Clear bra - full car (991.1)

Wondering if anybody here ever had their 911 wrapped fully with clear bra / PPF? I'm replacing the crappy job that came with the vehicle when I bought it used. What I was quoted for the front was reasonable. Adding doors became very expensive, but the full vehicle is beyond my worst fears.

I have no doubt the guy is great at what he's doing, and it's my only and therefore everyday car, so it would give me some piece of mind.

Thanks,
John

I paid $6k for full wrap on my '14 TTS. Not sure what it would cost a classic air-cooled 911.

Thank you - I was quoted about $1,000 more but that included removal of the old clear bra (front only)

I think one issue impacting cost may be that few people do a complete vehicle wrap. I know the bumper piece is pre-cut as are the rest of the front end appliqués I suspect. Everything from the doors back would have to be hand cut.

Yeah, that make sense. The piece that needed from the fender to the rear is also very long and one piece. It just caught me off guard - not the first time - and probably not the last time - being a new Porsche owner :-)

Might find more folks with actual experience in this on the 991 forum.

Which clear bra are you planning to put on your car -- suntek or xpel?

I did my entire track car in Xpel. Going rate is around $6k. My friend is a great installer so he cut me a break. It does add weight to the car when you add it up.

You can't even tell it is on the car.
