Why are you stripping it down? it looked damn good from what i saw in earlier pictures.

I am partial to blues myself. i went with Maritime myself because it was period correct for the 3.8RS clone I was building although in hindsight I wish I did Acid blue which was my other choice. Acid holds up to the sun better the maritime gets washed out.

first is maritime and the second is Acid

Hi ...yeah pics didn't tell the whole story. After 6 years and very little progress I pulled the car and took it to Workshop 5001. They got the car about 2 weeks ago and were not happy with how it was finished and that it was sitting outside this whole time. They want to start for scratch ...media blast and ecoat. I was thinking that it could be a good time to reconsider color choices (except for the matching instruments that took NOHO 2 years to do). Was at Luftgekuhlt last weekend and saw about 1 of everything. Think the early widebodies still look best is the bright early colors orange, green blue. Most likely going to keep the color but just wanted to see what others thought. Your cars always look great !!

I thought Acid Blau/Bahama Blue was a 1974 only color? Or is that long hood in a non original color?
