Not forged, no doubt. That is OK, they seem awesome. Otherwise, I will have to gut you, since you told me to buy them.

So, the all in cost was:

1) Wheels w/shipping: $1040
2) Tires w/ shipping: $850
3) New painted center caps: $300

I randomly decided to come down here this weekend, and showed up in a cab on Saturday, which was sort of funny. I was going to search for the center caps, but I think they are in the hall closet which is sort of a gigantic spaghetti maze.

Just finished taking the 930 out for a spin. I replaced the battery yesterday. Oil temperature and pressure ran great and smooth. Turbo spools nicely. Car is going to look 5000x better when we have the fuchs back on there to replace the hideous ones on there now (candidly a by-product of my "borrowing" the fuchs for track wheels around 15 years ago).

Dad is pumped.

Very interested in the Maxilite wheels. The website is nice but has no purchase info.

Where did you source them?

I bought them off eBay from the distributor here in the US since their website didn't want to work for me. Here are the 7s: http://www.ebay.com/itm/262403782406. Here are the 9s: http://www.ebay.com/itm/262631910748. Same guy from the US distributor is communicating with me by email for shipping.

Sure thing. I should have pitchers later in the week. I am going to have my dad/brother take some photos maybe this weekend after the new shoes are on there and the car has had a proper detail. Maybe some pictures by the beach or something.

I'm thinking about either Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R, or Bridgestone Potenza RE-11s for them in sizes 225/50/16 and 245/45/16s

LOL... Was thinking that Minilite owes me a commission. Wasn't trying to pry.

I bought the Pirelli P Zero's because they were available on tire rack. I probably won't have to replace the tires on that car for a long long long time. Pops only really drives it during the spring, fall, and winter, and only when it isn't raining.

From my tire rack order here in the US:

205/55ZR-16 Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R N0(Porsche)

2 In Stock $180.00 $360.00

245/45ZR-16 Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R N0(Porsche)

2 In Stock $205.00 $410.00

Ah! My bad, thought you just wanted info for the thread

Oh and thanks for the heads up Gramps! I really appreciate it. TüV approved, light, identical in looks to factory at $250 a quarter opposed to me thinking it was going to be $1K a quarter. Happy day!

Jase.
