I decided that I wanted to make the car look more retro so I sold my 17" Fifteen52 Outlaws and changed to 15". We had issues getting the inner barrels to clear the rear brakes and had to add 7mm of backpad over what's usually on a Turbo Carrera. Don't know if that's just my car or something different about all M491s. I'm very happy with the results. And I did keep my 17" Fikse Fuchs in case I want to run them.

No, I have not done it yet. I think the width will be 245.

The crazy mad scientist in me wants to add another inch to the back side of the rim and make them 16J10. Local shop will do it for next to nothing. Not sure about the tire selection though.

 

Night and day difference on the ride. She's really nice to cruise now. 225/50 front and 275/50 rear.

 

Can you post a side profile shot? Looks like a lot of rake. Very nice.

super, it's been said many times, the first thing folks notice are the wheels, wheels can make or break the look as well of course the handling

 

Here's a profile shot. I'm sure I've lost some handing, but I don't track this car. This is my cruiser. I drive it to work a couple times a week and my wife and I cruise it on the weekends.
