Is the clutch slipping/ smoking? Oil coming out the the viewing notch at the bottom of the bell shaped transmission housing?

NO No smoke at all. like I said they said its the rear mains

Alrighty, but a "rear main" leak that is not urgent is like saying you may need to change your blinker fluid during the next minor service overhaul.

That's what I was told, that I can do it in October. They said it doesn't have to be addressed right now. Are you saying that advice is wrong?
