Post How was it delivered?

Dear List

I did read the thread about aero aids with great interest, I also got Paul Freres book as a christmas gift and have read the chapter about the front and tail spoiler on H-series and up to -89 Carreras.

My -84 Carrera only has the front lip. I have talked to all previous owners and they all say this is the way it has always looked. ??? According to the book and also some knowledgeable people cars where either delivered with both spoilers or no spoiler at all.

I looked in the manual and found these numbers/letters:

WPOZZZ 91Z ES102303
93020-63E 91567-73E
L661 AP

C09 220 401 441 409
474 533 568 650

Can anyone help me encode them?

I'd like to keep the car like it came from the factory and not mess around with it, but if I'd like to get a tail spoiler, would it be hard to match the colour with the body? How do I attach a spoiler? Do I need to buy a new complete lid with spoiler?

cheers

Christian

Here's most of them:

220 Limited Slip 40%
401 Forged 15" wheels
441 Prep for radio
409 Sports Seats
474 Bilstein Shocks
533 Anti-theft device
568 Tinted glass
650 Sliding roof

So, it would appear the front valance was added, perhaps by the dealer at delivery (dealer added option)? Option M473 would be front and rear spoilers, however, that's not on your list.

If you want to add a rear tail, most reputable paint shops can match the paint and paint it for you. If you want to add the Porsche tail, you can buy the Porsche kit, part number 911.512.909.00, and that will fit into your existing lid. It includes the tail and the hardware for installation.
