Default Advice on G50 Fluid

With the winter cold temps noticing more difficulty moving into 1st, 2nd when first starting out. Smooth after about 10 minutes of driving. Live in Cinci, OH any advice on best fluid for year round use?
Thanks

JR:

You should be using Mobil 1 75w-90 synthetic gear oil in that thing.

Thanks Steve. I'll check level and probably just change out this weekend. PO changed about two years ago but not sure what was used. Is this normal behavior this time of year?

Yessir,....

Synthetics do lots better in colder weather due to a much more stable viscosity index.

Dino oils get really thick approaching 32 deg F.
