There was no pic for a while this morning. It's there now though.

Had a few folks ask for the "while in there list". If you PM me happy to email this to you. the "Page" numbers refer to the PET section numbers.

Got the shiny metal back. Looks awesome.
And powder coating looks great.

Now it starts going back together!

I don't now the guys name/shop. I think he's in Gardena and a guy that Cary (ERP) has used for years for all his plating.

They did a really nice job, impressed with the color/quality.

I bought a new fuel regulator and the match to that part is spot on.

I'm tempted to rip all the suspension off and have it down now lol.

UGH. So inventory parts that were coated, missing a small bracket. Nowhere to be found. Luckily shop found one locally at another shop.

This was a decent sized job, but some of these 'sublet' delays have been causing headaches.... getting close! Motor is all back assembled but need this bracket in order to mount up the throttle assemblies.

Hey Chris - You're going to have to pay 'Luxury Tax' when your registration is due. The DMV is going to look at all the 'bling' make you pay for it.

When does the re-assembly start?

I vapor blasted my alloy too! It's so awesome. I plated in yellow zinc as well, but instead of powder coating the tin, I tried nickel plate, and then cleared it. We'll see how that lasts

Jase.

This stuff looks great guys!!

I went the route of powder coating the tin, conventionally cleaning the aluminum, plating the steel brackets etc. & hardware (that was not being replaced). I bead-blasted the exhaust and had it ceramic coated though:

Question for you guys. Vapor blasted the metal bits. The fan is a bit uneven in appearance its the casting of my fan. It's perfectly smooth.

So for the fan and shroud.

How did you treat / finish it? Clear? Paint? Tinted clear? Nothing?
