Paint them unique colors that have never been on a classic 911 before.

Started rebuilding the front suspension and mocking it up to see if everything fits. I ordered standard offsets from Braid and now know I'm wrong on those. Standard front I was told was -3 but I assumed because I was using my original 911 hubs on the front that would be the correct offset. We will see soon. I haven't tried to mount a wheel yet.

I can't believe the shine on these parts. You might consider leaving the exterior haggard with no paint and keeping all the prizes hidden...but I'm a sucker for shiny paint, just like everyone else.

As much as I love straight Guards and Tangerine, I've become a real sucker for subdued shades. I look to cars past and present for ideas...Sorry for clogging your thread...

I believe Atlas Grey Metallic to be the best color Porsche has ever put on a car:

I believe Carbon Black to be the best color BMW has ever put on a car:

I believe Cyber Gray to be the best color a Corvette has ever seen:

Dark Olive Metallic is sweet if you're into greens:

I love the new Ford Guard:

This Fiat Verde looks great in person:

Aston has some great greens, too. Alloro:

I am a deep, deep sucker for milspec Olive Drab...Jeep did okay with it's Tank:

Aston Lightning is the best silver I've ever seen:

A gorgeous, unidentified Ferrari silver:

For a standard red, I really think Imola is still my favorite:

If you want to get crazy, an old 911 could really pull off Plum Crazy:

Yikes. I could do this all day.

More fitting of parts. Ready to cut the hole in my aluminum hood for the center fill fuel tank. Welding in the fender fuel filler.

Somewhat random question: What did you use for flares for the front? I was told that in order to get a 930 front fender profile on a longhood fender you'd need two per side.

I really like these builds. Steel flares and all the metal reinforcements are the kind of details I really like.

The aluminum hood looks killer.

The suspension and brake specs are just perfect IMO.

The attention to detail is great. Thank you for this thread.

I used RSR flares rather than 930 flares. If you use 930 front flares you have to fabricate a small extension.

It has to do with how mobile devices and the ancient Pelican software handle the image orientation EXIF flag.

Do you have any sort of anti-chatter spring or clip on your T-locks? I have the same hats, hubs, rotors, and calipers as you and mine are very noisy over bumps at low speeds.

What are you doing about the supply ports on your later rear calipers? I killed mine off.
