Default Price Check '89 Targa

I'm looking at an '89 Targa and would like some input on the current market value.

ROW, 29k kmh (18k miles) White/Black Pinstripe Cloth & Leather Interior, A/C & rear emblem delete from the factory, no tail, Service History, Original Paint, 2 condition.

Thanks,

JF

My guess is that you know better than half the guys here. Could be $25K to $45K....who knows?

I would say at least 40K.

If it's really 2 condition, which is near concours, and with only 18k miles (if true), I would say closer to $60-$65k. But you would be talking about an unmolested car in excellent operating condition. What kind of shape is the rubber and interior in? Original paint? Did it sit a long time without running? What maintenance has been done? Any accidents?

As always, get a PPI.

Quality 89's are on the up and up. Factory AC delete and cloth pinstripe seats are rare and desirable. Here's a couple of comps from last month. I would say coupes command a 10% premium over Cabs/Targas. I would consider these true #2 condition and sold very well.

From Hagerty: NO. 2: FINE - Well-restored or a combination of superior restoration and excellent original; also, an extremely well-maintained original showing very minimal wear.

Those miles are top tier auction caliber prices.
I agree with $65k+
