Hard to tell from the pics how hacked up it might be.
Sorry to see that, John. The rest of the car looks pretty good.
Tempted to send him an email saying I have an old jet engine ready to put in there...think he'd severely lower the price to prevent it...???....

John,
Sorry to see what happened to her. That was painful to read. We get so attached to these cars, they become such a big part of our lives.

Hi Wade, Mark, Jonathan and Jon..!
My thanks - bittersweet moment for sure when I saw the final bid at $16,200.. Dang - I REALLY hope it went to a terrific new owner who will do it justice....
Anyway - Jon - sounds absolutely correct - Granite Green Metallic. While I owned it for many years, there were not many others I saw in that color? As I recall - there was only one, a Targa at WGI with the same color....
Anyway - my best to all..!

I always get excited when i see another Granite Green car, its such a great color in person. I have the matching GG interior on mine. Ive only seen one other in person, also here in SoCal at a Pelican cars and coffee last year. Purchasing my 3.2 was heavily influenced by the color... saw it and had to have it. Probably overpaid a little (ok maybe alot) for the car considering i am rebuilding the engine right now! Still worth it though.. .

Very sad to see this nice car turned into this rolling mess.
BUT this could be reversed

I understand someone wanting to get all environmental... but, being someone that is not mechanically inclined; how does it burn the oil?
Maybe it has a 12v barbeque starter with a constant drip of 20w50 on the element...
Jase.
P.S. hope someone bought it to put her soul back in the shell!

other than the powertrain, what exactly is missing from this car?
is the body shell intact?
it seems to still have the suspension and brakes, so it is a candidate for hotrodding - and how is that different from the many hotrods that have been made?

It's different in that with the many hotrods nobody insulted human decency by plugging batteries and that bull**** box with a dinosaur on it. The tackiest, grotesquest gasoline-based sheeper isn't as shameful as this electric conversion.
