Default Sound Control/Management 75 911S

I'm about to buy a 1975 911S after I get a PPI done. It's really loud, part of the experience I guess, but I really need my hearing in good shape. Are there any techniques used to reduce the interior sound level? Are there any floor mats, rear seat area trim or covers available? I was thinking about the rubberized mats used by the rice boys to reduce panel vibration. Thanks for your help.

BTW, the 911 has no sunroof.

She was hard to start on a chilly morning. I've done a search and learned a lot.

Is it a factory headers/exhaust? Many people will back date the '75-'77 911 exhaust to get rid of the thermal reactors (and then why not add a "sport" muffler for a more agressive sound?).

Does it still have the sound deadening insulation between the motor and rear firewall? Again, many people have that removed as it typically just breaks down/falls apart after many years.

Not sure what else, other than adding your own "extra" insulation under the carpeting and rear seat area.
