Default 1988 911 front sway bar

My Tarret solid steel front sway bar sheered cleanly at the track this weekend. You couldn't saw it this clean. Does anyone have an opinion regarding replacing the bar with a solid vs tubular design

It isn't that hard..... believe me if I can do it, so may you.

See the yellow icon above in the message box ? Second icon from the right with the mountain and sun in it. Click on it and wait for the directions to scroll up. After you have your image downloaded off your photo chip, click on the image and then click the 'insert' green box at the top of that page.

Go to the next page which comes up and click the send icon and your message with the photo will come thru on this forum post.

Good luck with the new bar ...... ( and by the way, I like the solid bar )

and.... that is how it's done.

Giving me another opportunity to show a very, VERY competitive 911 as seen at the Rolex 24 @ Daytona in January 2015. It's got a serious front roll bar on it.

Not a little weinie one like on my '88 Carrera (-;
seen in the bottom image

This link is the best that I can do and i have no clue if anyone will be able to view the picture. What I can tell you is that I contacted Don at EBS racing regarding my problem and Don immediately referred me to Ira at Tarret. These guys were awesome in helping me solve my problem. They didn't try to upsell me on a new setup. I'm getting another bar. This is not an advertisement but I'm relaying my experience.
