Does anyone know the proper wheel size for a 1984 M491 cabriolet, is it
16 x 8 front 16 x 9 rear

Thanks!

An '84 should have been OE with 7's and 8's. The 9's came out a couple of years later. But the 8's and 9's fit just fine. Was the go-to upgrade I did plenty on when the cars were newish.

Thanks much, appreciate the help. I will prob go with the 8's and 9's knowing now they will fit fine.

I'm looking for a set (Fuchs) in either 7's and 8's or 7's and 9's x 16.
PM me with any details. TIA

I know of a set of 8's and 9's for about 3k in California. I'm sure a little refinishing may be necessary.....
How about the ones suncoast sells, any thoughts?

I didn't think the 911 8 x 16 will fit on the front of a 911, I thought you needed the 951 8 x 16 to fit.
