Default 100K to spend on a collection.....

Not that I have it.......but if I had 100K to spend on a Porsche 911 collection, I would buy three cars:

1. 73 911 S

2. 89 911 Cab

3. 96 911 Turbo

How Would you guys spend the 100K?

Simple. Either a real 911 Carrera RS and nothing else. Or a Carrara RS clone, 89 911 Turbo and 89 911 Speedster. That might squeeze under 100K. Maybe. Regardless, for me those three are necessities. Everything else would be frosting on the cake.

Yeah, I'll take a GT2. So long as it isn't what the Johny-come-latelys call a GT2, but instead what I call a GT2. One that is built from a 911 instead of a Boxrera. And that is the 993GT2 Evolution. This one would do www.carclassic.com/html/CX26.htm

Hmmm...interesting fantasy...

Carrera RS clone (I'd buy a real one, but I wouldn't be able to drive it without fear)
Mid-late '80s 911 Turbo
993 C4 (S if I have enough "money" left over) for a daily driver.

If I didn't have to stick with the "911 collection", I'd have a Boxster S instead of the mid '80s 911 Turbo. I would just make sure my RS clone had a newer 3.6 or 3.8 motor in it!

Default My choices...

Concours-condition Carrera Targa for the summer.
Cayenne Turbo for the winter.
That would be sweet!
Cheers,
Paul.

I spent $105K on a 2001 996 ($83K + $22K in mods). I sold it last month for $53K.

If I had another $100K and an opportunity to make that dumbell move again, I'd get a brain transplant instead.
