Default Correct black paint for Fuchs

I have a set of Fuchs on my 82 RoW 911SC. The car is presently being repainted and I want to have the black centers painted as well. I have read that they were originally gloss black. Talking to a Porsche expert, he says matte black. Anyone with a definitive answer as to the correct black? Thank you.

Wurth Satin Black seems a popular choice but some prefer satin gloss.

I am totally convinced the Wurth Satin black is the correct look, most like the original finish when new.
And please don't do the unthinkable and high polish the lips or use steel wool on them or chrome cleaner or ANY abrasive cleaner. The true anodized finish is a lightly muted, slightly 'wet mercury in a bottle' look with a grey cast only present when anodizing takes place.

The blinged out look is so overated and overdone. And so wrong.

How does black anodized fit into the issue of right vs. wrong?

We got a new replacement wheel back in the day after one was damaged by attempted theft. It's definitely not full gloss. Satin probably comes close. It is by no means a dull or flat finish.

Rustoleum Satin Black 7777 also seems to be a popular choice. The advantage is price and you can find it at Home Depot.

Be sure not to get any paint in the lug nut holes.

Raw anodized lips on the wheel rim as they came from the factory, NOT anodized black as on the wheel lug nuts.

The black centers have no anodizing, only paint.

I painted mine with Wurths Satin Blck around 5 years ago , I thought if I liked the look I would have them professionally done , 5 years later they still look awesome , and cost me only 20 bucks and my time.

Thank you for your comments. During the winter the car was fully mechanically renewed. It sounds pisser with the ssi exhausts and goes like the dickens. Such a different experience than driving my 997.2. It will be in the body shop most of the summer. I went to look at it last week and all the glass was out, doors off, bumpers off and lights out. I am hoping to get the dash out andsend out for recovering in leather. Euro car with no sunroof or AC, tinted glass, guards red with navy interior, front and rear spoilers, fuchs, 43K 2 owner miles.

Would any of these be good enough to match the rears if they were still original?

Probably an autocorrect artifact. As is suspected , the OP is from Massachusetts. Around here "pissa" means "really cool", only surpassed by "wicked pissa", which means "really, really cool".
