I'm a huge fan of '74 cars and you have some great options on there. Excellent color and that front oil cooler really helped the reliability of those engines. You did very well ( oil coolers should have been standard!) on that.

I may have seen that car running around locally! Not that I would have remembered it when I was 11.

Did a concours restoration of a Gemini Blue '73S Coupe that we had to, literally, bring back from the dead in about '92. Always liked that color.

Rick,
You're just lucky I had already bought my coupe when this car popped up. It is exactly what I was looking for. Congratulations.

Regards,

Matt

'74 is the best mid-year car, and it looks like you bought a really beautiful car.

These are fantastic cars to drive... run it hard and enjoy.

Looks great. I noticed the aftermarket a/c. Did they used the smugglers box for the evaporator. I just bought a 75' 911 Targa last week and the PO had some interesting aftermarket a/c stuff installed. Should be a fun car.

Looks like the original Behr unit to me. Even the red hoses. If it were my car I would switch to a newer Sanden style compressor. Those old Yorks vibrated quite a bit.

I'll probably take it off altogether and store it. If it gets hot, I take the roof off and roll down the windows!
